Announced on September 18 this year, the Blaser R8 Ultimate Monza straight-pull hunting rifle is the latest entry in the R8 Ultimate family based on an impressive, refined design and inspired by the world of car racing and its legendary international circuits (the previous being the Ultimate Silverstone).

Built around a black synthetic stock for simplicity and elegance and based on the tried-and-true straight-pull Blaser R8 action, the Blaser R8 Ultimate Monza is also available with an optional adjustable comb for the perfect mounting and handling solution in every situation, while the integrated memory function allows the stock to be adjusted to each individual hunter's body proportions and ergonomics in a matter of seconds.
What makes the Blaser R8 Ultimate Monza visually captivating is the highly contrasting red stitching on the impregnated leather inserts, the red R8 lettering on the receiver, and a black anodized inlay with red lettering on the thumbhole not-adjustable stock models. A sturdy, let elegant Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating protects the trigger guard, bolt head, and charging handle against aggressive environmental elements.
The Blaser R8 Ultimate Monza rifle is available in three barrel lengths and eight popular hunting calibers: the 52 cm / 20" barrel variant is available in .308 Winchester, 8x57 JS, 9.3x62mm, and 8.5x55 Blaser; the 58 cm / 22" barrel variant is available in .30-06 Springfield and 6.5 Creedmoor; and the 65 cm / 25" is available in .300 Winchester Magnum and 7 mm Remington Magnum.
All variants feed through the same internal magazine used by all other versions of the R8 Ultimate series (with the exception of the Ultimate X). Capacity varies depending on caliber.
A silenced version of the Blaser R8 Ultimate Monza is also available for purchase in those jurisdiction where sound suppressors aren't restricted.
