Victrix Armaments kicked off 2024 with a blast, introducing a plethora of new products at the IWA expo in Nuremberg (Germany), ushered in by an enticing advertisement campaign.

Of outmost interest is the brand new Victrix Armaments ORB line of bolt-action rifles, built around a single-piece lightweight aluminum alloy chassis and available in 6mm Creedmoor, 6.5mm Creedmoor, and .308 Match, as well as in the ORB SB (Small-Bore) variant chambered in .22 Long Rifle.

The ORB models complete the Victrix Armaments lineup of ELR rifles alongside the company's already well-known Crown, Throne, and Scepter rifles. With their rock-solid actions, manufactured out of a single billet of AISI 630 steel and featuring an integrated 20-MOA Picatinny rail for optics, the Victrix Armaments ORB rifles reportedly offer an extremely smooth feeding from their detachable magazine, improving the shooter's capability to obtain repeat shots on target while remaining totally stable.

The announcement of a brand new carbon stock option for the Victrix Armaments Target V and Target T bolt-action rifles – previously available only with wooden stocks – may pass on as a side note, but is actually particularly significant when it comes to the Company's technological capabilities.

The new Victrix Target series stock is manufactured out of T1000 carbon fiber, a world's first in the firearms industry. Previously used only for special projects, the T1000 carbon fiber allows the manufacture of components with a different weave and density in different points.

That is a particularly interesting feat, as it will allow the new Victrix Armaments stocks to be manufactured to better suit the levels of flexibility or rigidity that are optimal to the different points of the gun, from the bedding to the barrel down to the magazine well.

Finally, the Victrix Armaments Pugio T, Gladio T, Scorpio T and Throne V bolt-action rifles are slated to receive major upgrades in 2024 – notably new stocks, new handguards, and new detachable magazines – while the Pugio, Gladio, Venus and Venus PRO in their V, T and X series will receive new bolts and, where applicable, a new type of detachable magazines.

The year 2024 definitely kicked off under the auspices of a small revolution for Victrix Armaments, as the Italian company continues to follow the path of innovation and precision as it always has.
