First introduced in early 2023, the Benelli Lupo HPR BE.S.T. bolt-action rifle represent the excellent result of the Italian company’s exercise in a masterly blend of versatility and accuracy, having been engineered from the ground up to be adaptable on the fly to the needs, tastes, and physical build of every single shooter, as well as to different intended uses, literally on the fly.

Benelli’s Lupo HPR (High Precision Rifle) is the first Italian-designed bolt-action rifle to be field-configurable by the shooter for long-range professional or competition shooting or for long-range hunting in a matter of moments.

With a guaranteed ¾ MOA accuracy at 100 yards in all environmental and weather conditions, the Benelli Lupo HPR offers the best performance at 600 yards range.

The 61 cm / 24” Crio System fluted barrel and its screw-on flash hider, the fluted three-locking-lugs bolt, the cocking handle, the bolt stop lever and the steel breechlock all feature the BE.S.T. (Benelli Surface Treatment) coating, a Benelli proprietary finish that blends physical vapor deposition (PVD) and plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) to obtain a diamond-like coating offering superior levels of protection against rust, corrosion, scratches, and external aggressive elements.

The stock and handguard of the Benelli Lupo HPR bolt-action rifle are manufactured out of captivating “faux wood” black-veined brown high-impact polymer. Three sets of M-LOK slots on the handguard, an M-LOK interface on the stock, and a set of QD sling swivel cups provide a total of twelve different attachment positions for bipods, tripods, or monopods. The extremely vertical, ergonomic pistol grip features a rubberized, slip-proof insert. The stock itself, however, is the centerpiece of the Benelli Lupo HPR’s modularity features.

The Benelli Lupo HPR rifle comes without iron sights – opting instead for an integral, 30 MOA MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny top rail for optics – and feeds from a proprietary, double-stack 5-rounds or 10-rounds magazine whose feeding ramp inclination allows rounds to be presented for chambering at a perfect angle, for a swift and fluid feeding without bullet deformation.

The trigger weight is adjustable from little less tha 1 kg (34.9 oz) to a maximum of 2 kg (4.4 lbs), and a manual safety is located behind the bolt, at easy and convenient thumb reach.

The Benelli Lupo HPR bolt-action rifle is 1,17 m (46.25”) long overall, and weighs in at 4,25 to 4,3 kilograms (9.3 to 9.4 lbs approx.) depending on the version.
