IWA 2016 – MINOX has added three new models to its highly regarded ZX5 riflescopes line
MINOX has added three new models to its highly regarded ZX5 range of riflescopes designed to meet the requirements of hunters and sporting rifle shooters.
The three new models added to the Minox ZX5 riflescopes line, have been developed in response to international demand and the needs of the US market, and are available in the following configurations: 2-10x45, 3-15x50, and 5-25x50.
Notably, each model offers a reduced objective diameter, enabling the scope to be mounted closer to the rifle barrel thereby making gun mount easier.
While specially designed for hunting, in daylight Minox ZX5 riflescopes also offer good light gathering capabilities in lower light conditions and are available with or without an adjustable illuminated reticle that automatically switches off after two hours. The scopes come with a choice of reticles: German 4, Ballistic Drop Compensating (BDC) and Plex.
The Minox ZX5 and ZX5i riflescopes line includes the following models (in bold, the 3 new models):
- MINOX ZX5/ZX5i 1-5x24
- MINOX ZX5/ZX5i 2-10x45
- MINOX ZX5/ZX5i 2-10x50
- MINOX ZX5/ZX5i 3-15x50
- MINOX ZX5/ZX5i 3-15x56
- MINOX ZX5/ZX5i 5-25x50
- MINOX ZX5/ZX5i 5-25x56
The 30mm main tube and 5x magnification range of the Minox ZX5 riflescopes offer users maximum flexibility and precision for both short- and long-range shooting, while the large field of view enables quick and reliable target acquisition.
Added protection of the inner components is provided by the shock-resistant and scratchproof body made of premium anodised aluminum used in aviation applications, while argon purging prevents fogging and internal corrosion.
A smooth magnification power setting and easy adjustment of the rubber-armoured eyepiece supports quick focusing, while the extended eye relief of 100mm is beneficial to users who wear glasses and to shooters of larger calibre rifles.
