SHOT Show 2019 – Buck Knives expands the classic model 110 and 112 folding knives lineup with several new variations

Buck Knives announced the introduction of a variety of new knives to their lineup at this year's edition of the NSSF SHOT Show in Las Vegas – including slim profile additions to the 110 Folding Hunter and 112 Ranger lines.

Known famously as classic hunting knives, both the 110 Folding Hunter and the 112 Ranger are longtime customer favorites. Iconic symbols for generations, these model designs are often imitated but never duplicated. Buck Knives has created a modern solution for everyday carry. The 110 Slims and 112 Slims have been redesigned featuring colorful slim designs at competitive pricing.

The Buck Slim Pro level features a premium S30V steel with Micarta® and G10 handle options. The Buck Slim Select, priced significantly lower, features Buck’s standard 420HC steel and lightweight nylon handles.

All blades are finished with Buck’s advanced Edge2x technology that makes them sharper out of the box, hold an edge longer, and easier to re-sharpen.

This new slim line includes a thumbstud for easy one-hand opening and lockback design for safe use. The stainless steel, deep pocket carry clip featured on each knife is removable and reversible to allow for quick and easy carry. The Slim Selects feature nylon handles and are offered in black, red, blue, and chartreuse colors.

Also new for 2019 are two automatic opening versions of the Buck 112 Ranger knife design: the Buck 112 Auto and Buck 112 Auto Elite are powerfully deployed with the push of a button, instantly readying the blade. Both include a modern twist to the classic utilizing the same Macassar Ebony handles and 420HC steel blade, as well as a black G10 handled version with upgraded S30V steel.

Mirroring the classic with its brass bolsters and wood handle, the 112 Auto features a 3-inch (7,6 cm) clip point 420HC steel blade that is easily deployed with a push of a button. Weighing only slightly less than the original, the 112 Auto is only 5.6 ounces (158 grams) and is sold with a genuine leather sheath.

The 112 Auto Elite appeals to the customers with an interest in the American classic with an innovative twist and upgraded materials. The 112 Auto Elite weighs only 6.1 ounces and features a G10 handle with brushed nickel silver bolsters and 3-inch clip point blade; this too is sold with a leather sheath for safe carry.

Finally, Buck Knives added several variants to the 112 Ranger line, including the lightweight Buck 112 Ranger LT model, weighing in at only 2.5 ounces (approximately 71 grams) compared to the 5.6 ounces / 158 grams of the original. Utilizing the same famous 420HC steel clip blade, the bolster and handles were replaced with a lightweight molded nylon to reduce weight while maintaining the same quality and rigidity.

Another addition to the 112 family is the Buck 112 Ranger Pro, available with an upgraded S30V clip blade and rugged black G10 handle with brushed nickel silver bolsters. The Ranger Pro version of the 112 with premium materials will easily become a favorite for those who love the 112 and require ultimate performance.
