Every new RO Elite series pistol is clad in the same Black-T® treatment specified on Springfield Armory 1911s built for the FBI’s regional SWAT and Hostage Rescue Teams. Other features include Springfield Armory’s crisp, newly-designed Gen.2 triggers; ambidextrous thumb safeties; and custom thin-line G-10 grips designed specifically for this series, adding an entirely new feel for high-precision 1911s.

The RO Elite Target includes a fully adjustable rear target sight and fiber optic front sight. The RO Elite Operator, Champion and Compact models feature a tactical ledge, white-dot rear sight and fiber optic front sight.

Designed for easy carry and heavy use, the Springfield Armory Range Officer Elite Compact features a lightweight forged alloy frame and forged steel slide coated in corrosion-resistant Black-T® finish.

The 4-inch stainless steel match grade bull barrel with fully-supported ramp is coupled with a flat wire captive recoil system for ultimate reliability.

The Springfield Armory tactical white-dot rear sight and fiber optic front sight speeds targeting, an ambidextrous safety adds security, and crisp Gen.2 trigger and thin-line G-10 grips provide the smooth action and secure hold of a quick, accurate and imposing defensive weapon.

The Springfield Armory Range Officer Elite Champion pistol trims size, not performance, with a 4-inch stainless steel match grade bull-barrel and fully supported ramp. The full-sized frame is forged lightweight aluminum alloy, with a slide of forged steel.

Both are finished with the same Black-T® surface treatment that shields the coveted Custom Shop Professional Model against corrosion and extreme conditions.

Match grade frame and slide are forged steel, Black-T™ finished to withstand corrosion, abrasion and extremes. The slide features slanted front and rear serrations for easy racking. The 5 inch stainless steel, match grade barrel delivers on-target rounds with repeatable precision, aided by a Springfield Armory tactical white-dot rear sight and fiber optic front sight.

The Operator sports a crisp Gen.2 trigger and GI recoil system. An accessory rail and ambidextrous safety add flexibility, and thin-line G-10 grips provide a solid, hand-pleasing fit.
