Once one of the best known companies in American gunmakers, Stevens is now a controlled brand of the Savage Arms Company, used for Savage’s tough-as-nails budget-level product line. New from Savage Arms and Stevens at the 2023 SHOT Show is the Stevens 334 bolt-action hunting rifle, available in .243 Winchester, .308 Winchester, and 6.5 Creedmoor.

Available with the shooter’s choice of a Turkish walnut stock or a black synthetic stock, the Savage Arms Stevens 334 bolt-action rifle offers a plethora of features that will appeal both first-time buyers and seasoned hunters alike, such as a drilled and tapped receiver with a Picainny rail for optics issued from factory, and a 50 cm / 20” or 55 cm / 22” barrel depending on the caliber.

Other features of the new Stevens 334 bolt-action rifle include a 60-degrees bolt throw – which keeps the shooter’s hand well off the scope eyepiece when chambering a round – and a button-rifle carbon steel barrel. All variants feed from a 3-rounds capacity detachable magazine. MSRP for the US market is set at $389.00 for the black synthetic stock version and $489.00 for the Turkish walnut stock version.
