First showcased at the Paris MILIPOL expo back in November 2017, the Beretta PMX is a new-generation sub-machinegun chambered in 9mm Luger, developed specifically for the demanding needs of Law Enforcement and Military users around the world.

An Italian-made, select-fire license-manufactured version of the swiss B&T P-26 semi-automatic pistol, the Beretta PMX makes extensive use of polymer materials and lightweight alloy in its construction.

A blowback-operated, closed-bolt design, the Beretta PMX features a barrel and bolt manufactured out of special-strength steel to withstand the rigors of harsh environments and abusive conditions; metal parts and friction surfaces are treated to reduce wear and guarantee resistance to corrosion.

The Beretta PMX features an ambidextrous three-position fire selector, which also dubs as a manual safety, as well as a bolt-open design and a sear block with annexed automatic firing pin block for increased handling safety. The polymer chassis of the Beretta PMX sub-machine gun features numerous MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rails for accessories.

The factory lightweight, ergonomic foldable stock of the Beretta PMX can be replaced with an optional aluminum telescopic stock,  and integrates a sling loop.

Other features of the Beretta PMX sub-machine gun include a reversible cocking handle, adjustable and removable front and rear sights, a suppressor-ready muzzle, and easy field-stripping procedure. The Beretta PMX sub-machine gun feeds through translucent 30-rounds double-stack straight magazines.
