The Springfield Armory SAINT Victor 9mm Luger semi-automatic carbine is Springfield's first ever foray in the market of pistol-caliber carbines: based on the Company's own, commercially successful line of SAINT AR-15 variant rifles and carbines, the new SAINT Victor 9mm PCC was conceived specifically for practical shooting and for home and property protection.

The Springfield Armory SAINT Victor 9mm semi-automatic pistol caliber carbine is built around a forged 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, Type III Hardcoat Anodized upper and lower receiver with an Accu-Tite tension system for perfect coupling, and features a Melonite-treated CMV steel 16" barrel with a Springfield Armory 9mm Forward Blast Diverter for better performance with all 9mm Luger loads, including the hottest available ones.

Unlike many PCCs based on the AR-15 platform, the Springfield Armory SAINT Victor 9mm was engineered and built around 9mm Luger from the ground up; as such, it features a shorter ejection port, with a prominent deflector, and its magazine well is dimensioned specifically to use 32-rounds vertical Colt SMG type double-stack metal magazines.

The SAINT Victor 9mm doesn't feature a forward assist button – typical of 5.56mm AR-15 variants, not very useful on 9mm carbines – and does without a direct gas impingment in favour of a simpler straight blowback working system, much better suited for a pistol caliber.

The Springfield Armory SAINT Victor 9mm PCC also features a Picatinny-railed upper receiver for optics; a set of factory-issued spring-loaded, adjustable flip-up low-profile polymer sights; and a machined aluminum free-float M-LOK handguard with Springfield Armory locking tabs.

Other features of the Springfield Armory SAINT Victor 9mm pistol-caliber carbine include a nickel-boron coated, flat-faced trigger; a B5 Systems polymer trigger guard; a B5 Systems Type 23 P-Grip; and a six-positions adjustable Bravo stock with QD sling swivel cups, also provided by B5 Systems.

Standing at 899 mm / 35" in length with the stock fully extended, and weighing in at 3,1 kg (6 lbs 15 oz) when empty, the Springfield Armory SAINT Victor 9mm pistol-caliber carbine is sold on the US market at a MSRP of $1,299.00. No information concerning international distribution and pricing has been made available so far.
