Umarex debuts new T4E and Protect line products
SHOT Show 2023 – The Training For Engagement (T4E) and Prepared To Protect (P2P) products lines of Umarex get a big boost at the 2023 SHOT Show with the launch of three new products
The German Umarex group has been offering a series of CO²-powered pistols firing .50-caliber rubber, plastic, pepper or marker bullets for less-than-lethal self-defense or Force-on-Force training, in two product lines dubbed respectively P2P (Prepared to Protect) and T4E (Training For Engagement). At the 2023 edition of SHOT Show, Umarex announced the expansion of the two product lines with the launch of three new models.
The Umarex P2P HDP 50 Compact is a small-sized version of the proven HDP 50. Thanks to the Quick Piercing System, a light tap on the underside of the grip is all that is needed in an emergency to pierce the propelling 8g CO2 capsule. This system allows the HDP 50 Compact to be stored in advance with four rounds of the powerful .50 caliber and with the capsule inserted in standby. The clearly visible and tactile pressure indicator signals immediate readiness for use. The cover of the four-round tubular magazine under the barrel also serves as a generous trigger guard, which also allows operation with gloves and guides the index finger safely to the trigger. As ammunition, the user can choose from the full range of P2P round balls in .50 caliber.
The Umarex T4E TP 50 Compact is a Force-on-Force training of the above. Outside of the color – all black in lieu of black and orange – the two models are essentially identical. The TP 50 caliber is suitable for all .50-caliber T4E round balls. If used as a paintball market, Umarex recommends the use of the Company’s own marking balls or chalk balls, as classic gelatine-based paintballs could burst during feeding or inside the barrel.
Last, the Umarex T4E TR 50L is a version of the successful Umarex Tactical Revolver 50 with a built-in adjustable laser sight. The quick-change rotary magazine holds six rounds in .50 caliber, and the ergonomically shaped grip accommodates the propelling 12g CO₂ capsule that’s activated via the Quick-Piercing System with a light tap on the bottom of the grip. The intuitive shape of the TR 50L ensures safety from the very first handling. This is ensured by structured grip surfaces, an automatic trigger safety and the easy-to-operate double action trigger. The TR 50L is suitable for the entire T4E .50-caliber ammunition range.
