The Smith & Wesson Model 19 Performance Center Carry Comp double-action revolver is part of the new Model 19 line, launched in 2017 by Smith & Wesson as a revamping of the original "Combat Magnum" design after years of absence.

Refinished and tweaked with by the Performance Center, the Smith & Wesson Model 19 Performance Center Carry Comp revolver is optimized for 24/7 concealed or open carry and for personal defense, striking a perfect balance between weight, dimensions, and features to make the hard-hitting .357 Magnum caliber even more manageable.

New for 2021, Smith & Wesson introduces a new version of the Model 19 Performance Center Carry Comp revolver, now featuring a 2.5" / 6,4 cm barrel. The new version is 7.5" (19 cm) long overall, and weighs in at 935 grams (33 oz.) when empty.

The Smith & Wesson Model 19 Performance Center Carry Comp is built around the legendary K-Frame, which – along with the barrel and the six-shots cylinder – is entirely manufactured out of carbon steel and sports a full matte black finish.

The new Model 19 Performance Center Carry Comp version is available with a custom wooden grip or a black composite grip, and features an extremely efficient PowerPort compensator at the muzzle, which also dubs as a muzzle brake and makes the hottest .357 Magnum or .38 Special +P defensive loads very easy to manage even with such a short barrel.

Other features of the new Smith & Wesson Model 19 Performance Center Carry Comp revolver with 2.5" barrel include a fixed tritium front sight, an adjustable blade rear sight, a tuned Performance Center action for a smooth double-action and light single-action trigger pull, and a trigger overtravel stop notch.

The new Smith & Wesson Model 19 Performance Center Carry Comp revolver with 2.5" barrel is currently being distributed in the United States at a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $1132.00.

At the time of this writing, there is no information concerning availability and price on the export market.
