Almost two years after the first prototypes were showcased at the 2020 edition of the SHOT Show, in Las Vegas, the eagerly awaited SIG Sauer P210 Carry 9mm Luger semi-automatic pistol has finally been released and is now shipping to retailers in the United States.

Definitely one of the most distinctive and unique carry-oriented handguns to have been launched in the past few years, the new P210 Carry retains the lineage of the original Swiss-made P-210 – arguably one of the most elegant service pistols of the 20th Century – while infusing the original design with all the most desirable features that modern-day shooters require from a 24/7, high-end concealed carry weapon.

SIG Sauer's new P210 Carry retains quite a lot of the original P-210, last but not least the signature reverse rail design of the machined stainless steel slide – which is however shorter and smoother than the original, featuring a full matte black Nitron finish, front and rear serrations, and a set of SIGLITE night sights.

Another classic feature of the original P-210 design that the new SIG Sauer P210 Carry pistol retains is the single-action only, hammer-fired trigger, with a short, smooth travel and a light, crisp release, one of the best in the history of firearms industry and still highly appreciated by target shooting enthusiasts who are very fond of both the original P-210 and its modern reproductions manufactured by SIG Sauer.

The frame of the SIG Sauer P210 Carry pistol is precision-machined out of 7075-T6 aircraft-grade lightweight aluminum alloy, finished in matte black, and is extremely smooth, without an accessory rail to speak of, but with a squared, checkered "Combat"-style trigger guard.

The grip features a set of dark grey, very gripping G10 panels and a good set of fine front strap and backstrap serrations. The magazine release catch, the slide stop lever and the frame-mounted manual safety are well-dimensioned for easy and comfortable handling.

Standing in at 197 mm / 7.75" in overall length, and weighing in at 822 grams (29 oz), the new SIG Sauer P210 Carry is remarkably shorter than the original P-210; the reduced overall width – 36 mm / 1.44" – makes it almost effortless to carry without printing.

SIG Sauer's new P210 Carry comes with a 104 mm / 4.1" long Nitron-finished, carbon steel barrel, and with two 8-rounds, single-stack magazines. A smooth, beveled design for easy drawing and holstering, lighter weight, ideal grip purchase, and excellent trigger ensure that the P210 Carry will deliver a premium shooting experience for a carry gun.

The manufacturer's suggested retail price for the SIG Sauer P210 Carry hasn't been announced yet, but a $1.300 price mark had been announced back at the 2020 SHOT Show, for the US market.
