Colt expands the King Cobra line of double-action revolvers with a new King Cobra Target .22 Long Rifle variant, offering a staggering capacity of ten rounds for plinking, training, sport shooting, pest control, and as a trusty companion for your escapades in the great outdoors

At the 2022 edition of the NRA Annual Meeting and Exhibits (NRAAM) held in late May in Houston (Texas), Colt announced the expansion of the King Cobra line of double-action revolvers with the launch of the new King Cobra Target .22LR rimfire model

Colt's line of double-action revolvers has been re-introduced in 2017 after decades of absence, in a bid by Colt to return to a market it once dominated. With the new .22 Long Rifle King Cobra Target model – not to be confused with the Colt King Cobra Target .357 Magnum revolver, introduced in the Summer of 2019 – Colt offers a great alternative for plinking, sport shooting, small game hunting, pest control, and as a defense and utility gun for outdoor enthusiasts.

Entirely manufactured out of stainless steel, with a shiny polished finish, Colt's new King Cobra Target 22 LR double-action rimfire revolver will be available with a 107,9 mm or 152,4 mm barrel (4.¼" or 6" BBL), as well as with a rubber overmolded grip texturized for a positive and secure grip for precision shots; a raised sighting rib with a red fiber-optic front sight; and a Target-type adjustable rear sight.

The cylinder of the new Colt King Cobra Target rimfire revolver offers a staggering capacity of ten rounds in .22 Long Rifle caliber. The extractor is oversized to accommodate the rimfire cartridge and allow easy extraction of spent cases.
