SHOT Show 2018 – Czech-based MEOPTA introduces the MeoRed T, a new reflex sight offering an outstanding optical quality and unlimited eye relief, and the versatile 3x MeoMag magnifier for red dot sights
MEOPTA MeoRed T Reflex Sight
New from MEOPTA at the 2018 SHOT Show is the MeoRed T, a 1x30mm reflex sight offering fast and accurate target acquisition when it matters most, regardless of eye position behind the sight.
The MeoRed T is an excellent alternative in today's crowded market for MSR/AR primary sights, offering a 1.5 MOA illuminated red dot reticle with 12 intensity level settings for use in various light conditions. Reliability in ensured by a tough housing machined out of aircraft-grade aluminum.
The MeoRed T reflex sight is also compatible with night vision optics and magnifiers, making it versatile for various situations in the field. Meopta’s proprietary MeoBright lens multi-coatings eliminate glare and reflections and deliver 99.7 percent light transmission per lens surface.
The hydrophobic MeoDrop lens coatings ensure the highest level of visual clarity in adverse weather conditions, easily repelling rain and snow in addition to skin oils and dirt. The MeoRed T is also waterproof, shockproof and fogproof. Optional accessories include yellow, anti-reflection and anti-laser filters; a set of spacers; a quick-release base mount; and an offset AR-15 mount.

MEOPTA MeoMag magnifier
Following the launch of the MeoRed T red dot sight at the 2018 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Czech-based Meopta also announced the introduction of a 3x universal magnifier for red dot sights, dubbed the MeoMag.
Meopta's MeoMag is a hard-use device: shockproof, fog proof and waterproof, it is also IPX8 rated to resist water submersion to a 2-meters depth for up to two hours, and can operate at a temperature range of -40°F to +140°F / -40°C to 60°C.
The Meopta MeoMag offers a high level of light transmission (83% to 86%, depending on light condition) thanks to the lens coatings which also minimize glare and repel water, dirt and oil.
Also designed to used as a monocular, the MeoMag was thus built to be extremely ergonomic and hand-friendly. Optional accessories for the Meopta MeoMag 3x magnifier include a hard case, a fixed mount, a quick-release mount, and a throw-to-side hinge mount for tactical use.
