Among Leica's newest products showcased at the 2018 SHOT Show was the newest addition to the company's lineup of heralded rangefinding binoculars: the Leica Geovid HD-B 3000 offers a staggering 3000 yards (2743 meters) ranging capabilities along with a plethora of additional tecnological innovations.

Other than the high-end optical performance for which all Leica sport optics are renowned, the new Geovid HD-B 3000 also features a new LED readout that automatically adjusts to ambient light conditions. Geovid HD-B 3000 rangefinding binoculars also boast the onboard Leica Advanced Ballistic Compensation (ABC) system and an integrated microSD card which enables users to upload custom ballistics profiles.

In addition to linear distance, the ABC system considers temperature, barometric pressure, and angle of declination readings to deliver point-of-aim correction and user-specific results within fractions of a second: holdover, angle-compensated horizontal distance, and click adjustments.
