Trijicon SRO "Specialized Reflex Optic", now available in Europe

Waffen Ferkinghoff now distributes in Europe the new Trijicon SRO "Specialized Reflex Optic", introduced in the US back in April as a specialized miniature Red Dot Sight for handgun shooting  – be it defensive, tactical, or competition – but also apt as an auxiliary optical device for tactical rifles

First announced in April, just before the 2019 edition of the NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits, the Trijicon SRO Specialized Reflex Optic is a newly designed red dot sight conceived for competition use, primarily on handguns but also as an ancillary on long guns, offering features such as a significantly wide sight window and a crisp red dot for fast target acquisition, which will increase first hit probability and consistency for shooters in static and dynamic disciplines alike.

Now available in Europe through the German distributor Waffen Ferkinghoff, the Trijicon SRO comes equipped with automatic and manual brightness control: the shooter can dial-in the favorite brightness setting with the new "Lock-Out" function, and keep the sight illuminated for an indefinite amount of time by using the new "Lock-in" function. This feature is not only ideal for fast-paced competitive events in bright daylight, but also for long hunts in changing lighting conditions. Additionally, the brightness can be manually adjusted in 8 different levels.

Despite the large sight window, the Trjicon SRO is quite small at 2.2x1.3x1.4" / 55x32x34mm and lightweight at 1.6oz / 46 grams with battery.

Immune from discoloration or other optical distortions, the SRO is a great choice for static shooting disciplines, as the crisp dot in combination with the large field of view enables a relaxed and focused aim.

The Trijicon SRO is offered in 3 different configurations that cover all shooting needs.
The 1 MOA dot variant is perfect for for maximum precision, long-range, and bullseye shooting; the 2.5 MOA dot variant is a multi-purpose choice, particularly apt for target shooting; the 5 MOA dot variant is the most suitable option for shooters looking for fast target acquisition at close range in practical shooting disciplines.

The battery compartment of the new Trijicon SRO sight can be accessed from the top, so that shooters won't need to remove the sight from their firearm in order to perform a battery change – now a lightning-fast procedure. The Trijicon SRO sight is powered by a single, commercial standard CR 2032 battery; the SRO offers a battery life of more than 3 years on a constant brightness setting of 4 out of 8. As can be expected from Trijicon, the overall quality of the SRO is top notch: the rubberized housing made from forged aluminum and the hardened glass lens guarantees longevity even under harshest conditions.

The Trijicon SRO will start shipping throughout Europe starting in October. For further information about price and availability visit the Waffen Ferkinghoff website.
