Meprolight FT Bullseye pistol sights now available to civilian and professional customers
Meprolight of Israel announces that their MEPRO FT Bullseye illuminated pistol sights, already available to civilian customers for some time, are now also available to law enforcement and homeland security markets, providing a cost-effective, reliable and low-profile alternative to handgun optics
Meprolight announced the introduction of the the Mepro FT Bullseye optical pistol sight to law-enforcement and homeland security markets.
The Mepro FT Bullseye was originally introduced to the global civilian market at the 2017 SHOT Show; it is by all intents the smallest optical sight currently available for handguns, providing fast target acquisition in all light conditions.
If compared to a classic electronic red dot or reflex sights for a handgun, the FT Bullseye system comes at a lower cost and is easier and more intuitive to operate easier and more intuitive operation. The lower overall encumbrance and profile of the system also makes it a perfect alternative for effortless daily carry, both open and concealed.
The Meprolight FT Bullseye system replaces the pistol's native rear sight, requiring no modifications to the slide, and is available for sixteen different handgun lines among the world's most popular for civilian, military, and law enforcement uses – including the CZ-75, CZ-85 and P10; Glock pistols, including MOS and subcompact models; Heckler & Koch, IWI Masada and Jericho pistols; Kriss/Sphinx, SIG Sauer P320 and P365 models; Smith & Wesson M&P and Shield pistols; Springfield XD and XDm derivatives; and Ruger MkIII, MkIV and LC9 pistols.
Based on a compact optical illumination patent, the sight’s fiber-optic tritium combination creates a low profile, single rear sight with a center red or green dot, so much so that a handgun fitted with the Meprolight FT Bullseye doesn't require a front sight anymore and can have it removed for an even slimmer, print-free and snag-proof carry.
The design enables instant and accurate shooting in all lighting conditions with no batteries needed. It is easily installed on an existing pistol dovetail and is immediately active, with no tinkering required.
A handgun equipped with the Mepro FT Bullseye system will not require the use of a dedicated holster.
