In 2020, the Maserin knife company of Italy celebrates the sixtieth anniversary of its establishment. An important occasion to celebrate, at the 2020 edition of the SHOT Show, with the launch of not one, but two new models, all embodying the style and quality that Maserin knives are known for.

The first, aptly called the Maserin 195/60 'Sessantesimo' – the word meaning "Sixtieth" in Italian – is a slim, elegant pocket utility knife, sporting a classic design that traces its roots in Maserin's history.

This gentleman's knife sports an 8 cm / 8.13" AISI 420 HRC 56 front blade and a shorter, serrated rear blade; standing at 18,5 cm (7.28") in length when fully open, the Maserin 195/60 'Sessantesimo' knife is extremely thin, and comes with either a colored Micarta handle or in a celebratory edition with black carbon fiber handle panels held in place by gold-plated screws.

Also new for this year is the Maserin 640 Ghost – a remarkably more modern tactical and defensive knife available with an aggressively-designed 9 cm / 3.54" long, N690 HRC59 steel stone-washed blade in its liner-lock folder variant and a D2 steel blade in its fixed variant. When open, or in the fixed blade version, the Maserin 640 Ghost is 22 cm / 8.6" long overall.

Engineered by Italian knife designer Alessandro Zanin, the Maserin 640 Ghost features a lightning-fast ball bearing-based opening system in its folding version, while the fixed blade variant is slightly thicker for superior endurance (6mm vs. the 4mm of the folding blade). The highly ergonomic grip design is complemented by a set of grey, black, or olive-drab green G10 panels; the Masering 640 Ghost knife also features a reversible steel belt clip and an emergency glass breaker.
