Freshly introduced at the 2020 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, the Kestrel HUD wireless gun-mounted heads-up display is a cutting-edge technical solution allowing shooters – be them hunters, long-range competition shooters, police marksman or military snipers – quick at-a-glance access to real-time shooting solutions from a Kestrel 5700 meter.

Combining pinpoint onsite environmental measurements and precise ballistics calculations in one compact weatherproof unit, Kestrel Ballistics weather meters are popular among civilian and professional shooters as they allow to eliminate the guesswork in long-range shooting.

The new Kestrel HUD pairs with Kestrel 5700 ballistic weather meters acting as an eye-level repeater screen to view live targeting data.

Lightweight but sturdy enough to stay firmly in place for any shooting situation weather-proof and recoil-tested, the Kestrel HUD won’t get banged up by bumping into a barricade at a match or knocking against a tree on a hunt.

The Kestrel HUD heads-up display is clear and eye-level placed, and can be paired to a remote-positioned Kestrel 5700 Elite Weather Meter with Applied Ballistics to allow the shooter to take full advantage of advanced features like a downloadable DOPE card (a full range card specific for the shooter's rifle-bullet combo) and a Multi-Target Card.

A large display improves visibility and focus on critical data while reducing eye strain, and remains easy to read in direct sunlight and low light conditions.

The Kestrel HUD also allows spotters to feed shooters updated target data on the fly, and stage data is immediately viewable on the monitor; a remote switch optional accessory allows to change between targets and send target data to the Kestrel weather meter without changing your shooting position or allowing target to leave field of view.

A countdown timer is available to prepare shooters for competition by tracking speed, and so is a convenient app for Android mobile devices to keep track and store all recorded data.
