The TEP-100 by 3M PELTOR allow users to protect their hearing and improve situational awareness and communications in high-risk, challenging environments. Integrated with state-of-the-art level-dependent technology, the TEP-100 helps provide hearing protection in noise and situational awareness in quiet environments, thus resulting ideal not just for military operators, but also for professionals in civilian fields such as engineering and maintenance.
3M PELTOR's TEP-100 tactical earplugs kit offer an intuitive one-button operation and an SNR noise reduction ratio ranging between 29 and 38 decibel, depending from the type of eartips installed. The single operation button allows to switch the TEP-100 earplugs on or off, and to set the volume on either of the two available levels – low and high.
The TEP-100 tactical earplugs kit are sold in a glass-filled polyetherimide, IP67 water resistant case that also integrates the recharging system, powered by a set of three AA commercial alkaline batteries used to recharge the internal Lithium ion batteries of the earplugs themselves.
It takes approximately 90 minutes to recharge the earplugs completely, and after a full recharging cycle their battery will last for approximately 16 hours. The AA batteries of the recharging system must be replaced after about 16 recharging cycles.
