Hornady Manufacturing's new Precision Lab Scale is dedicated to the most demanding shooters and reloaders out there, offering high levels of sensitivity and a .01 grain readout as well as compact size and easily programmable features
Brand new from Hornady Manufacturing for late 2022 and early 2023, the Hornady Precision Lab Scale was conceived and manufactured specifically for the most demanding hunters and sport shooters out there, particularly those who reload their ammunition to the utmost level of accuracy, even in small batches.
When consistency and precision are paramount, reloaders need precision instruments to get the job done, and that's where the new Precision Lab Scale from Hornady comes into play.
Compact enough to meet the demands of those reloaders with very little room to spare on their bench, the Hornady Precision Lab Scale is powered through a built-in rechargeable battery with a USB slot for an external power bank or a factory-issued reloading cable.
The Hornady Precision Lab Scale provides a 3,000 grain capacity and high/low sensitivity settings up to a 0.01 grain readout – that's extremely more accurate than the vast majority of commercial reloading scales currently available on the market.
Other features of the Hornady Precision Lab Scale include compare, percent, and count modes, and a function to print data to a spreadsheet for easier retrieval.
Hornady Manufacturing's Precision Lab Scale will soon hit the market in the United States at a suggested retail price of $418.84 – not exactly cheap, but still a far cry from the price tags of the very few powder scales that can offer the same levels of accuracy and precision in readouts.
