The First Tactical 'Krait' liner-lock folding knife features a 89,15 mm / 3.51" long high carbon, high chromium D2 steel modified spear knife and a black, OD green or desert tan G10 handle. At barely 129,6 grams (4.57oz) of weigth, the Krait knife is the result of a cooperation between and noted knife designer Mike Vellekamp to create the perfect advanced utility knife.

The Krait is built with a thinner frame and blade for a better fit in the pocket and a quick deploy. A turned pocket clip is provided, and an issued wrench with extra screws can be used to reverse the clip for left-handed or right-handed use. The complex convex blade curve allows users to keep objects being cut centered on the blade, while the Company's own, specialized Thumb Bridge Technology™ provides the gloved or ungloved hand ease of opening in all conditions with added steadiness and skillful control of the blade. While open, the thumb bridge and blade choils allow the user to choke up on the knife for fine cutting and knife work.

The issued FRN sheath comes with a locking mechanism providing Level I or Level II retention.

The Krait knife is priced at $59.99 in the United States; the MSRP for the Scorpion knife is instead set at $39.99.
