A sturdy, half-day backpack available in black, coyote tan and olive drab green, the First Tactical TACTIX 0.5-day backpack offers long-lasting resistance to abuse and compact size thanks to the 500D/1000D water-resistant Nylon cordura construction and the use of Duraflex for the manufacture of its hardware, which makes it barely 1,74 kilograms (3.85 lbs) heavy.

The main feature of the TACTIX 0.5-day backpack is the Lynx™ Laser Cut Platform, a First Tactical patent compatible with MOLLE/PALS accessories.

A new take on the traditional web platform, the Lynx™ offers twice the mounting positions and tests 20% stronger than that of other tactical bags.

Two layers of 500D nylon fabric are laminated together for extra strength with a low profile, while a smart and strong laser cut slat system offers twice the usable loops to position additional gear.

The Company's own, ingenious Hook and Hang Thru™ System compartment are also a prime feature of the TACTIX 0.5-day backpack: unzipping top and bottom, it allows specialized items like the First Tactical rifle sleeves or other oversized tactical gear or hanging items to slide through and securely hook and hang in place.

The TACTIX 0.5-day backpack offers 9 external pockets and 19 internal pockets, for an overall capacity of approximately 27,4 liters (1670 cubic inches). T

he main compartment is 11-inch (27,9 cm) long, 18 inches (15.7 cm) high and 6 inches (15.2 cm) deep; the back hook and hang pocket is similarly well spacious at 11" x 18" x 1" (27,9 cm x 15,7cm x 2,5 cm).

Also available are a 9" x 4.¼" x 1" (22,9 cm x 10,8 cm x 2,5 cm) top front dump pocket; a smaller (9" x 13" / 22,9cm x 33 cm) CCW pocket; a 9" x 12.½" x 1.½" (22,9 x 31,8 x 3,8 cm) front admin pocket; and two front L-pockets offering a 4.¼" (10,8 cm) length, a 12" (30,5 cm) height and a depth of ¾" (1,9 cm).
