The new Chiappa Firearms Wildlands 92 Takedown .44 Magnum lever-action rifle was designed by the Italian company to be the ultimate takedown survival rifle for pilots, outdoorsmen, and the like: packing the punch of the powerful .44 Magnum cartridge, it is made lightweight by the skeletonized black polymer stock with adjustable cheek riser and rubberized buttpad, and by the patented profile, triangular-shaped M-LOK machined aluminum handguard.

Like many other lever-action rifles from Chiappa Firearms, it can be easily stripped in two components for more convenient transport or safe storage, and just as easily and quickly brought back in one piece and into action. The magazine tube holds five rounds, plus one in chamber and three more in a spare ammunition holder on the stock; also featured are a set of studs for QD sling swivels, a Paracord-wrapped wide lever, and a round or octagonal profile 16.5" barrel with a protected 5/8" x 24 thread at the muzzle for flash hiders, muzzle brakes, compensators, or sound suppressors.

The ejection window of the new Wildlands 92 Takedown rifle from Chiappa Firearms is angled, allowing the rifle to eject to the right side instead of the top. This clears the room for two portions of Picatinny rails integrated over the receiver, allowing the use of top-mounted optical sights.

The new Chiappa Firearms Wildlands 92 Takedown lever-action rifle will hit the markets in March; MSRP for Europe has been set at €1.576,00.
