Walther expands again the PDP family of pistols with the latest Walther PDP Steel Frame series. After the launch of the 5-inch barrel PDP Match Steel Frame model, first introduced in early December 2023, the 2024 SHOT Show has seen the introduction of the Walther PDP Compact Steel Frame pistol, with a 4-inch barrel, and the Walther PDP Full Size Steel Frame pistol, with a 4.½" barrel, dedicated to personal defense, home protection, duty, and tactical applications, as well as range training and competition shooting.

All the models in the Walther PDP Steel Frame pistols series are optics-ready and feature Walther's Performance Duty Trigger providing a distinct, recognizable feel for repeatable accuracy that will maximize confidence with every shot.

All models are chambered in 9mm Luger; Compact models feed from double-stack 15-rounds magazines, while the Full-Size and Match models use 18-rounds or 20-rounds magazines.

The precision-machined steel frames all feature a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail integral to the dust cover, allowing installation of tactical accessories; also issued from factory are ergonomic wrap-around rubberized grips providing a comfortable and secure hold for better shooting stability.

MSRP for the Walther PDP Steel Frame pistols in the US is set at $1,699.00 for the Compact and Full-Size models and at $1,899.00 for the Match model. MSRP in Europe starts at approximately €1.199.
